The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most sought-after on the market. This is due to their superb comfort. It's a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that can easily handle bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who like to walk, and a 'cinema mode' that raises the back seats for better visibility.
The phil&teds dots are brilliant single buggys that can be easily modified to take two (or three!) in multiple configurations. This is especially helpful if you have a baby in a car. Suspension
The suspension of a double 3-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is vital as babies can feel every bump on the road, especially if it's on rough terrain such as grass or dirt roads. Some models have locking front tires to assist in maneuvering and getting over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres, which provide a fantastic all-terrain adventure, but they could be prone to punctures, so make sure you have a spare set in the trunk. 3 wheel pushchair use gel or foam tyres, which are specifically designed to handle bumps and are less susceptible to punctures, however, you may find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to run.

MFM reviewer Kath tested the Urban Glide 2 with her newborn and 3-year-old and found it exceptionally adept on terrains that are difficult to traverse. "It was able to effortlessly navigate grass and bumpy sidewalks, cobbles, and dirt tracks and was easy to maneuver around corners and climb up and down kerbs." The 16" rear wheels, when combined with the lockable swivel wheel on the front, make it a very comfortable jogging experience. Folding
A 3 wheel double buggy folds quite well to store it. There are models that fold flat or stand up (as as if they were the form of a pushchair) and also open to reveal a more umbrella-style folding, with the option of a hand-operated break. In general, the more wheels a buggy has the more comfortable it will be to navigate on rough terrain. This is particularly true if your wheels are larger than the typical size. You will have more stability and it's less likely that you be forced to tip over or flip your child.
The iCandy Wave is a popular option. It can be used in conjunction with an infant car-seat as early as birth, and later converted into a double buggy side-by-side when your child is older. It's a light-feeling option which makes it easy to push, and it comes full of extra features including bumper bars and a raincover.
Another option is the phil&teds sport that is a future-proof model because it's a fantastic single buggy right from the start and then adapts to take 2 (or even 3!) All of this fits into its compact footprint. It features a clever three-wheel design with a sling for better manoeuvrability and stability.
