Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can transform from a single to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up to create a triple-travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It has 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the most simple to adjust and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to position your child for maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of space, but we would have liked an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers are a bit frustrating because they have to be unfastened and then refastened after each use.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is a step up from the toe-pinch levers that many of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats making it an ideal alternative for twins, or for parents with a single child and a baby on the way. It can be used with all major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with a car seat and want an appropriate stroller, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat in this case.
